FAQ’S ABOUT HOW A LAW SCHOOL TUTOR SERVICE WORKS

It’s hard to get into law school, and most law students work hard to be there. Then, they realize that the coursework is extensive. They might be unable to pay for private tutoring because it’s so expensive. That’s why we created our company.

Though you can work with a law school tutor whenever you need one, you have a new way of studying law that fits your learning style. We realize you might have questions about how it all works, so continue reading our FAQ section to learn more about law school tutors.

How are you different than other law tutoring online options?

Most law tutors focus on a specific area of law, such as legal writing, constitutional law, civil procedure, criminal procedure, evidence, real property, criminal law, criminal justice, contracts, or business law. I'm looking for law tutors near me. Where are you located?

We’re an online-only solution for law school tutoring and help law school students and those who are preparing for the bar exam. You can be at the top law schools in the area, including the New York University School of Law, and you’ll still be able to use our services.

It’s like hiring a private law tutor without the hassle!

What if I don't think your subscription service will work? Can I hire a law tutor?

Law tutoring takes many forms, and we realize that, as a law student, you want the best law tutor you can find.

Our subscription service helps you study more effectively, and tutored students are known for achieving higher grades and scores on the bar exam.

We always recommend that you start with the subscription service. You’ll have access to practice exams, learn more about your courses, and be a successful law school graduate in no time. However, you may also hire law tutors whenever the need arises.

What subjects do your tutors for law students help with?

Our tutors handle all types of law courses, including:

  • Civil procedure
  • Legal writing
  • Criminal law
  • Criminal procedure
  • Real Property
  • Contracts
  • Evidence
  • Torts
  • Constitutional Law

Whether you’re focused on taking the law school exam or getting your law degree, our team can help. We offer tutoring sessions and our subscription-based service that provides virtual flashcards, timed essay questions, and all the rest.

What will a Constitutional Law tutor do?

Most of our tutors (regardless of the field) were in the best law firms in the nation and practiced law themselves before turning to teaching.

As a law student, they will help you fully understand the US Constitution, its Amendments, and more. You’ll be learning the system of checks and balances, the allocation of powers, and the concepts for protection, liberties, and individual rights. Law schools often teach this first because those practicing law will need to know them.

Private tutoring will help you achieve high grades in law class and get higher scores on the bar exams.

Are you affiliated with a specific school of law?

No. Virtual Law Tutor isn’t affiliated with any schools, and the subjects we teach and focus on are part of most curriculums.

However, most of our tutors went to law school themselves before turning to teaching. They might be practicing lawyers or not. Overall, they are all here to help you become a law graduate at whatever school you attend, including:

  • Baylor University
  • Cumberland School
  • All others

What do I have to do to sign up at Virtual Law Tutor?

The first step is to determine what package fits your needs best. The monthly subscription provides you with:

  • Skeleton outlines and flow charts
  • Instructional articles and videos
  • Virtual flashcards
  • Timed practice hypotheticals
  • Essay exam templates

You can also have one-on-one tutoring with our highly skilled tutors. This starts out at a base fee of $95, but we offer different packages here, as well.

Choose from 5, 10, and 15 hours of tutoring, depending on your needs. You’ll also get a full year’s subscription to VLT, which can save you time and money.

Experience tutoring the way it was meant to be enjoyed. Online tutors can help students learn and grow. Whether you feel you’re not good at public speaking or need help with your research skills, our team can assist you in your legal studies.

Do I get to pick the tutor?

We don’t list our tutors on the page because we pair you with the best tutor depending on your specific needs. For example, if you’re focused on criminal procedure, you don’t necessarily need someone who specializes in the business aspect of law.

Don’t worry about a thing! You’ll get a great tutor who will help you.

We do recommend starting with the monthly subscription service. You can always request additional tutoring later. In most cases, the students who use Virtual Law Tutor learn how to study efficiently and don’t need extra assistance. Still, it’s there whenever you need it.

Try our service today and see how much of a difference it will make! You’ll be glad you did!

I'm still confused about how VLT works. Can you explain things more?

Yes! We realize that this is a new thing, and most tutors don’t offer what we provide.

The monthly subscription is what we recommend most to students. You’ll receive access to:

  • Hundreds of instructional articles and videos detailing how to write essays
  • Exam templates for the essays to understand structure and analysis
  • Skeleton outlines and flow charts, building on those to understand each course or subject
  • Flashcards that make it easier to drill down on the rules without having to write them out yourself

If that isn’t enough, you can request the help of an online tutor. We have packages for those, which you may learn more about here.

Hopefully, you have a good grasp of what we do here. If you still have questions, that’s okay! Please contact us, and we’ll help you!
