Analyzing a homicide issue is really about properly categorizing the degree of malice involved – is this an intentional killing, or a killing done with reckless disregard for human life, or during the commission of a felony, etc.? If the conduct does not fit any category of malice, does it qualify as involuntary manslaughter?
